"...does not disappoint!"
Liz Fielding's Her Desert Dream, the follow up novel to Christmas Angel for the Billionaire, does not disappoint! It's adventurous, intriguing and very sensual!
From the beginning to the end of this fabulous story you'll see a wonderful interpretation of the classical Cinderella story. Where the previous book (which does help you to understand the story but not necessary for utter enjoyment of it) is a reverse Cinderella story, this one allows a store clerk to transform herself into someone else for a time...and get her prince charming!
And it all starts when Lady Rose Napier decides she wants a bit of time away from the public eye, and in her place she hires her look-alike.
At an early age the similarities Lydia Young shared with the nation's royal angel were so remarkable that she was often confused for her the Lady. So when they finally meets by chance, Lady Rose takes the opportunity to hire Lydia to trade places with her for a short time in order to give herself a break from the limelight. All is well with their plan until a very handsome, very intriguing prince with his own agenda enters the picture as her escort into his country.
Sheikh Kalil al-Zaki's family was forced from his country long before he was born, but when his ailing father wants nothing more for his dying wish but to die in the country of his birth, he's honor-bound to help him get back in good standing. In order to do that he needs a Lady to ensure him an audience with his Uncle the Emir.
Her Desert Dream lives up to the title. Lydia is a strong heroine who makes the best out of an awkward situation and comes out even stronger on the other side. And Kal is a hunky, no-so-overbearing Sheikh that you wouldn't mind being stuck in the desert with! I adored this two-part series and would highly recommend you read it for yourself to get the whole picture.
