"...difficult to put down."
Anne Marsh grips the attention of the reader with her first few lines of an exotic imaginative world of caves and villages. With palatable detailed descriptions and an engaging narrative voice, I found it difficult to put down.
Miu is a young woman seemingly naïve to the dark world around her, a uniquely fantastical world with shades of sex and violence blended into one hue, but instead of tasteless sexuality, Anne Marsh cleverly and subtly brushes sensuality into the storyline softly like watercolor. As the story unfolds with Mui, the main character and an unlikely interest who's nature is to hunt her, the complicated personalities of them both emerge. Written well, with interesting plot twits, this read engages the mind with well crafted characters, imaginative settings, and sensuality. Guardians, thieves, virgins, spirits and a necklace Mui must recover, this story will appeal to the adventure/fantasy fans as well as the die hard romantics.Read more reviews by Ami B. or for more personal information visit Ami B.'s website
