"Bound by Blackmail is a story worth reading."
Bound by Blackmail is a story worth reading. It's about Mercedes Alcolar, who is the sister to Joaquin Alcolar (from The Twelve-Month Mistress). Mercedes falls for handsome Jake Taverner, who has an agenda against her father, who had an affair resulting in the birth of her half-brother Ramon.
Jake finds Mercedes to be a very lovely and sensual young woman and loses his heart to her. He blackmails her into a month engagement which finds them both lost in each other.
The story between these two as they work out their differences, to begin a life together, is a great read. I would recommend the book to anyone. As you follow the story, you find out you really want these two to get together. Bound by Blackmail is the last of a trilogy. I can't wait for Kate Walker's next book.
