"… a definite page turner!"
Jamie LeCore, NASCAR driver extraordinaire, is about to start the ride of her life. She’s been implicated as having caused a pile-up during her last race, but she just knows she isn’t to blame. The only way she can prove it is to steal the driving tape from her ex-boyfriend, NASCAR driver Clay Riker. Clay burned her bad and Jamie is in a man-hating mood, but she’s determined to put on a happy face for her best friend’s wedding.
Quinton Douglas is glad to be out of his relationship with TV sensation Cynthia Harman. Unfortunately, the woman doesn’t know how to take no for an answer is practically stalking Quint. When he leaves town for his cousin’s wedding, he’s relieved to be away from the barracuda. Cynthia has definitely made him swear off aggressive women.
When Quint first meets Jamie he’s under the impression that she’s a high priced call girl. Needless to say, he’s shocked when he finds out she’s NASCAR’s only female driver. As the two work together to clear Jamie’s name, the sparks fly. They can’t seem to keep their hands off one another, no matter how good their intentions may be.
Secret Sacrifices is a definite page turner! E-books aren’t always the easiest thing to read if you don’t have an e-reader, but you’ll find yourself glued to your seat just the same. You can feel the chemistry between Jamie and Quint. With suspense, a mystery, and steamy love scenes, there is plenty to love about this story! Secret Sacrifices will not disappoint you!
