"...sets her apart from the pack..."
Margaret Mayo has done it once again. A superior author for Harlequin Mills & Boon, Ms. Mayo's writing only gets better with each book she writes. And her latest release, The Santorini Marriage Bargain, sets her apart from the pack of today's series authors.
A sexy Greek businessman, Zarek Diakos, and a down-on-her-luck, efficient American secretary, Rhianne Pickering, are the stars of this marriage of convenience story. Frankly, Rhianne has had about all shocks she can take by the time she 'bumps' into Zarek's sleek car on the streets of London. But while she's disillusioned with her ex-fiance and best friend, she's no fool and takes Zarek up on his offer to fill his secretarial needs. Their story progresses on to the warm, beautiful Mediterranean island of Santorini where Zarek's ailing father reveals that Zarek must marry or else lose his business. And who else would do but the sweet Rhianne? After all, she's at hand and safe since her relationship wounds are so close to the surface. It doesn't hurt that Zarek desperately wants her in his bed!
Rhianne and Zarek's story progresses smoothly and interestingly enough from start to finish to keep you up all night waiting to see how the two will handle themselves next! It's a definite must-read on my list and I believe fresh enough to give any series reader a nice read.
