"...a very surprising ending..."

Bart Rawlins has been accused of murdering his uncle, who was not very liked by anyone. The question is who stands to benefit the most from Jeb Rawlins death. Bart being at the top of the list he turns to the law firm that has represented his family for years, but what he doesn't know is Lindsey Wellington, the firms newest lawyer, has been assigned his case and it's up to her to prove his innocence.

Along the way, through all the threats, and trying to uncover the truth about who killed his uncle, Bart and Lindsey find themselves in a place neither have ever been before...in love. I love that both these characters are very strong willed and determined to protect each other. Each one has to give in and accept that the other is going to protect them, whether they like it or not. A great story of a love that neither person expected, along with the "whodunnit" that keeps you guessing. Add all that to a very surprising ending, and you have a great read. The only thing that I had a problem with was for some reason it took me a few chapters to really get into the story, but once I did, there wasn't a problem!

Book Description for Legally Binding

From the Shotgun Sallys Miniseries...

Reformed-bad-boy-turned-rancher Bart Rawlins had been accused of a murder he hadn't committed, and only the best lawyer in Texas could prove that he hadn't. So when newcomer Lindsey Wellington walked in with promises of acquittal, Bart suppressed his libido and focused on Lindsey's every word....

Proving Bart was innocent was not the kind of first case Lindsey thought she'd handle. And trying not to fall for her sexy client was one lesson they'd overlooked in law school. But with Bart's future up in the air, Lindsey had to ignore the secrets of her heart if she didn't want to risk losing it....
