“...once you pick it up, you don't want to put it down.”

Gianna is the type of book that once you pick it up, you don't want to put it down. From the moment I read the first page, I was hooked. Curious actually. And the story definitely paid off in most of the aspects promised.

In a dazed-by-a-car-wreck sort of way, I felt drawn in by the heroine. Gianna's very easy to relate to—she's not only free-spirited, she's curious and determined to explore pleasure at any cost. Though at first, I wasn't as sure of her relatability factor. She came across a little wreckless at times, but then you realize she's trying to express herself and find her way.

All the way through, the story keeps you wondering what will happen next as Gianna's husband Eric steps onto the scene—and adds another layer to the entire story. I was a bit put off to the level of violence explored in the story, especially when the author touches on the “hero” being physical in a not-so-romantic way with the “heroine.” But overall, the story is interesting and definitely deserves the term erotic romance!
