"...wasn't for me."

Mage John Atlantis, know as Lantis to his friends, is a former black ops and currently owner of his own security business. As a favor to his friend Dillon he agrees to help Kiera Stevens, owner of KidTek, find out who is spying on her business.

Lantis goes undercover as Kiera's lover to be able to gain access to KidTek with no one being wise as to why he is really there. But it doesn´t take long for the pretending to become real and for Lantis to discover some of Kiera fantasies. Then while performing a spell to put up a magical firewall something unexpected happens and Kiera and Lantis become "entangled with each other."

It took me awhile to actually get into this book, I had to put it down and pick it up several times. After finishing the book I am still confused about several aspects of it, and felt like maybe some more explanation about Mage and Healers would have helped me understand it better. I'm not saying Dante isn't a good writer but this book just wasn't for me.

What's on a man's mind...

Security expert John Atlantis never expected his client to be such a hot distraction. That's what makes his covert plan to pose as her lover so irresistible. What unfolds between them is no ruse-and what it sparks is beyond their control.

Now, while their defenses are down, a devious high-tech spy is moving closer, and watching Kiera's every move. What he sees, he likes. And what he likes, he takes.
