Rating: ★★☆☆

Edgy, seductive and a bit disconcerting at times, Susan Andersen’s Skintight allows you a fresh glimpse at an old tune. While adjusting back to life as a Vegas showgirl, widow Treena McCall finds herself involved with pro poker player, Jax Gallagher (a/k/a Jackson McCall). He’s intriguing and their sexual chemistry is explosive, so why shouldn’t a girl have a little fun?

Though her husband’s been dead a meager four months and, to be fair, their marriage had been more about affection and enjoyment of each other than sex, I found Treena’s attitude to be a little strange. Had she really cared for the man she’d married at all? Again, to be fair, she had been taking care of him for nearly a year while he’d been dying of cancer. And, she had to deal with financial destitution again after having a sense of security when she’d married the older gentleman. She appeared to need a distraction from life. What better distraction than a man, right?…read more or buy Skintight now!
