Mills & Boon will be searching for new, fresh voices to join their ranks this Fall. Starting in September 2010, according to their new site (Romance is not dead) authors will enter and could win a chance to be published!

I’ve given this link to my daughter, although I suspect she won’t be able to enter. She is entering writing competitions left, right and centre during her Gap Year. Fingers crossed for her!

I am up early today seeing if I can pull my entry for this contest together. I have been hampered by first my computer crashing and had to be sent to shop. But they saved the info, so I didn’t lose my entry. Then my husband having a bout with medicine problems and straightening this out. So here I am working on this contest. I have entered contests before also, but one more seemed a good idea, especially this one.

Things have been so intense during the entire contest with many of us having probably very excited highs and then terrible lows. Ten people were chosen, and then ten more for a critique. I really want to read all of this and have set aside time to do this. Right now, for me, the wait continues, as a list of entries the editors would like to take a further look at will be posted. Fingers crossed.
