And here’s a bit about Sabrina…
Sabrina Philips is 24 years old and lives in Guildford, England with her husband. Her first book, ‘Valenti’s One-Month Mistress’ was accepted for publication in March 2008 and will be on the shelves in the UK in February 2009, and then in North America in March 2009. She has just sold had her second book, a sheikh story, and is currently working on her third.
Sabrina was passionate about all aspects of both writing and romance from a young age, and first fell in love with Presents in her early teens while she was volunteering in a charity shop on Saturday afternoons. One day she was sorting through a stack of pre-loved books and came across Susan Napier’s In Bed With The Boss. She started reading it under the counter there and then, and that was it.
After writing daily to gain her degree in English and Classical Studies, she took a suitably romantic job as a coordinator and deputy registrar of marriages at her local register office, but found she missed writing terribly. As a result, she decided to try her hand at writing romance in her spare time, and once she’d started, she wondered why on earth she’d never thought of combining her two favourite things before. In 2006 she attended a week’s writing course in a castle in Scotland run by Sharon Kendrick and became set upon the goal of publication. Two years of hard work later, Sabrina is absolutely delighted and thoroughly overwhelmed to be an author for Presents herself.
