I read and write erotic romance, and although I don&#039;t mind if some people know, there are some people I don&#039;t tell because they are super religious or because it feels awkward to discuss it (like my mother).  I agree that I don&#039;t really want my close relatives to read my erotic stories, it just weirds me out a little bit.  I don&#039;t want to think about them sexually or have them think about me that way.  It is funny that you say you used to earmark the pages of the &quot;hot scenes&quot; in Harlequin and Silhouette books when you were a kid so you could reread them, I did the exact same thing, starting at about 12 years of age.  I was lucky because my girlfriends had to hide the romance books from their parents, but that was one thing my mother never cared about me reading.</description>
